Well..is this article trying to say that extravagnent evening ensures "success of marriage "???. Contrary to this article, modern bride is one who knows how much effort has been put in earning the money and thus ensures that it is not wasted in extravagnance and over splurging.
Hi Nupur, this blog is just trying to say that the modern Indian bride does not compromise on anything so that she has no regrets later on. And we believe that it is possible to have a perfect evening without overindulging or overspending. After all, the whole point of all the functions in Indian weddings is to give all the people involved an opportunity to get to know each other better. Whether the arrangements are large gatherings or small, intimate ones, is up to each individual. :)
