From a successful marketing career to an extraordinary career in photography…Here is Priya’s story….

Like most of us, Priya completed her graduation from Delhi University. During her college days, she pursued photography as a hobby. Her friends from college describe as someone who you would find with a camera all the time.

“I must have shot everyone in my college”, she says

But like most of us, Priya joined the rat race. Running it with everyone from the tender age of 19 and let go of the dream of photography.

She did her MBA from Bangalore to get prepared for the race.

“Everyone was doing MBA” – Is the only reason she had for pursuing a course she had no real clue about. The journey after the degree was good money and a swanky lifestyle. Courtesy a well-paying job at an MNC. A comfortable job, one which helped her be the bread winner for her family was not a bad choice, only it the foundation of it was laid out by burying her dream.

Her husband, who is a professional photographer himself, helped her. He was a constant reminder for her to pursue her passion and take that chance. And one fine day, she mustered the courage to do just that. It was that very morning that the realization dawned in. Photography had always been her passion. She still continued to look at the world through her lens. Today, Priya is happily pursuing her passion.

Currently, Priya is working as a professional newborn and baby photographer. In her line of work, she gets to experience beautiful stories of children she likes to capture. Her photographs tell the story of not just their childhood, but how they light up your life.  From the moment your little ones open their eyes, to the time they hold your hand with their tiny fingers and take the first step, she picks up these delicate moments and threads them in a series of beautiful images.
