Sumeet Vyas, the actor from the popular web series Permanent Roommates, found his very own permanent roommate in Ekta Kaul – and married her in the presence of friends and family in Jammu recently. The celebrations kicked off with a puja ceremony followed by a fun-filled Sangeet and Haldi. We instantly fell in love with the bride’s Mehendi lehenga, her bridal makeup looks and their offbeat wedding invite! Read on to see photos of everything we loved about their Kashmir wedding.
The bride wore an offbeat hued icy blue lehenga skirt with a pink crop top on her Mehendi. She completed her look with matching pink floral jewellery. What we loved was the beautiful colour of the lehenga!

We actually loved what Sumeet wore – an asymmetrical grey kurta that had it’s own sheen, paired with a matte black bandhgala. It’s a great combination and grooms can definitely wear something like this to look dapper at their wedding events!
While there’s no clear photo of the entire outfit that we’ve spotted, here are some photos and videos to give you an idea of what it looked like.

Natural, simple and beautiful best describes Ekta’s bridal makeup style. The actress chose a popular local makeup artist, Gautam from VLCC Channi Himmat in Jammu, to get her ready for her big day. He didn’t disappoint, with the flawless yet stunning looks he gave her on both days.

The highlight of the wedding was their chalkboard wedding invitation card with quirky wordings, that was designed by Puneet Gupta Invitations. Definitely a great idea for the couple who likes it offbeat yet simple!

The card says – “Shit just got real. Holy Shit, we are actually getting married! Correction: Actually we are getting married in a Holy ceremony…”
