Sigh..that dream home may still be a long while away but until then why not make the most of the little bit of space you do have and find a way to optimise it for your lifestyle.<\/span><\/p>\n

1.Find furniture that doubles up for usage<\/span><\/h2>\n

For example; you can switch out regular coffee tables and use a metal or wooden trunk instead. Or buy a bed with drawers or a pull up under storage unit. This way you have plenty of storage both inside and outside!<\/p>\n

2.Hang your laundry hamper <\/span>behind<\/span><\/i> the door<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

There\u2019s absolutely no reason why a big, clunky basket or bin of dirty clothes should take up floor space in your bedroom and be an eyesore! Use foldable mesh laundry hampers and hang them on a peg behind your door.<\/span><\/p>\n

3.Install fold down furniture<\/span><\/h2>\n

4.Use a cork board for jewellery or hair accessories<\/span><\/h2>\n

Instead of stowing all these items in a drawer and using up valuable storage space, simply fix a flat cork board to the inner door or back frame of your cupboard. You can use tiny plastic push pins to hang your necklaces, hair ties or hair bands and simply insert earrings directly into the cork surface. Neat, easy and super quick to access all those tiny bits, isn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n
