The fancy bottle of olive oil and the aroma of\u00a0oregano from the herb sprinkler, oh, we simply love it!\u00a0Pastas are a household name now. Kids particularly love this dish, as it comes in interesting\u00a0shapes, it has lots of cheese and is easy to eat independently! However, the guardian angels\u00a0of food (read mother) want to pack food with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mumpa.in\/parenting\/A-Recipe-to-Boost-Immunity-455\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">immunity boosting goodness<\/a> and nutrition,\u00a0and are not too convinced about pasta\u2019s nutritional value. Due to this prejudice, the\u00a0delicious pasta may not make as frequent an appearance on the dining table as we would\u00a0want it to. No fret, here is a simple trick to make your pasta nutritive with the goodness of\u00a0as many vegetables as you want to eat!<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Mumpa: Recipe for a Healthy Pasta\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ogh-NwTwcKU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\">Ingredients:<\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">1. 200 gm any pasta. Choose a Pasta, penne, fusilli, spaghetti or any other<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2. 3 medium sized tomatoes roughly chopped<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">3. 1 medium sized onion roughly chopped<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">4. 150 gms of chopped green vegetables like (You can use all the vegetables that your\u00a0kids don\u2019t eat otherwise!)- Broccoli, Capsicum, Carrots,\u00a0Spinach and Beans<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">5. 2 1\/2 tbsp Olive oil or any vegetable oil<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">6. 2 tsp Fresh or dried herbs like oregano or rosemary or mixed herbs<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">7. 2 cloves of crushed garlic<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">8. Grated cheese<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">9. Salt to taste<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">10. 2 \u2013 3 tbsp of any commercially available pasta sauce or tomato ketchup (optional)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5824\" src=\"https:\/\/de927adv5b23k.cloudfront.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/shutterstock_549777379.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"720\" height=\"377\" srcset=\"https:\/\/de927adv5b23k.cloudfront.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/03195436\/shutterstock_549777379.jpg 720w, https:\/\/de927adv5b23k.cloudfront.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/03195436\/shutterstock_549777379-150x79.jpg 150w, https:\/\/de927adv5b23k.cloudfront.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/03195436\/shutterstock_549777379-512x268.jpg 512w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\">Recipe:<\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">1. Boil the pasta. Add 1 tsp of oil to the pasta while boiling it. Save some water while\u00a0straining the pasta for the sauce, keep it aside.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2. Heat 1 tbsp oil<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">3. Add the tomatoes, onions and chopped greens to the pan. Add some salt. Saut\u00e9 till\u00a0the vegetables are cooked well<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">4. Puree the cooked vegetables in a blender. We will use this puree as the base for our\u00a0pasta sauce<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">5. Heat the pan again with 1tbsp of oil<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">6. Add the 2 cloves of crushed garlic<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">7. Add the vegetable puree<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">8. Add grated cheese or pop in a few cheese slices if that is what you have at home<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">9. You can add 2 \u2013 3 tbsp of any pasta sauce available commercially or ketchup at this\u00a0stage. Else, just add some fresh or dried herbs like, oregano, rosemary or any other\u00a0herb of your choice.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">10. Add the water which we had saved while straining the pasta to loosen the sauce<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">11. Add the boiled pasta<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">12.
