'Janambhumi' and 'Karambhumi'

Vikram Solar’s CSR activities revolve around a deep-seated philosophy involving and emphasizing ‘Janambhumi’ and ‘Karambhumi’. ‘Janambhumi’- indicates one’s birth place and ‘Karambhumi’ signifies the place where one works to earn a life, bettering oneself and the community through positive actions. The focus is on bringing positive changes to the society/community thus uplifting and giving back to one’s ‘Janambhumi’ through their actions within the ‘Karambhumi’, for the good of the world.

Ballaram Hanumandas Charitable Trust

Vikram Group’s community development and welfare programs in and around Bahal in Haryana, India have transformed the area and are operated under the aegis of Ballaram Hanumandas Charitable Trust. The Trust is headed by Mr. H.K. Chaudhary, Chairman, Vikram Group and has played a pivotal role in transforming the lives of people of Bahal.

Beginning of the CSR Journey

Mr. H.K. Chaudhary, Chairman, Vikram Group of Industries believed that a community that can identify and avail better choices for health, education, and clean environment, can lead the nation through bringing positive changes. To aid the community to achieve such a goal, Mr. H.K. Chaudhary set out to build an efficient infrastructure through active CSR initiatives and sustainable business decisions. His consistent efforts have made his “Janambhumi” Bahal the centre of CSR activities, and with time the CSR efforts have spread across the nation.
