I joined TABIS in 2014 and whatever I am today, I owe it to my school and my teachers. I am grateful that I had the right mentors at the right time. Truly, our school was a fountain of knowledge and experience. I was an introvert before joining TABIS, but the school helped me to become an extrovert and brought out the best in me. I went on to become the head boy which boosted my confidence even more. TABIS had multiple extracurricular activities happening from time to time which not only helped us students to refresh our minds from our daily academics but also instilled in us skills such as teamwork, problem solving and leadership.
I also have beautiful memories of my school trip to Scotland to the “Edinburgh Festival Fringe” where I was a part of the group of students who performed in the theatre festival and our play was called the “BOLLYWOOD EXPRESS”, my stage fear was out of the window and there was no looking back.
The limited number of students in each class, gave us more of a 1 to 1 personal touch in learning. My teachers made learning a fun experience rather than just concentrating on bookish knowledge which I am grateful for. There’s a saying that “A good teacher inspires hope, ignites the imagination and instils a love of learning”. This saying is really apt for our teachers at TABIS.
The mission of my school – ‘Inspiring potential to create happy, confident, balanced, and independent learners whilst nurturing the qualities of amity, bravery, integrity, and sincerity’ is absolutely true, I have experienced it all.
