The Inclusive Education Program has been designed specifically for students with learning disabilities. We endeavour to equip children having learning disabilities (Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) with strategies to comprehend, retain, and overcome the gaps in their learning skills as they progress on their academic journey.
The focus of the curriculum in this section is to use remedial tools to equip the student to receive and retain the learned concepts as well as become aware of the relevance of what they are learning in their daily lives and environment. This is done by theme-based learning that is linked through all subject domains. The method we apply aims at skill development that is age-appropriate, be it language-based, math, or concept related. Information and Communication Technology is the backbone of our program, keeping in mind the demands of the current trend.
The curriculum in this section is designed to prepare our students for the NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) board exam. This program combines the two critical aspects of comprehension and memory, imperative to achieve the goal of exam completion with relative ease. Continuous evaluations are a part of this program that helps the student build memory gradually to finally equip themselves with the skill set required to take the board exam and meet its traditional demands, all the while comprehending and relating to all concepts taught to their environment.
This program is optional for our students as well as open to any student that has completed their grade 10 exams and are looking for a program that is designed to achieve higher grades with a pace that is evenly spread over two years to complete the grade 12 board exams.
We only practice what we have learned in school once we take up jobs. Until then, it’s all about how well we score on exams! At The Aditya Birla Integrated School, we believe that learning completes a full cycle once we have had the chance to put our knowledge into practical use.
Practice School is a unique internship program offered to students in our Junior college. It is here that they begin to get a glimpse of the work ethics, teamwork, punctuality, and responsibility in the corporate world. The program is designed to reinforce classroom teaching as well as enhance social and emotional development. Before the students end their journey with us, we attempt to give them a peek into the world outside of school with its numerous possibilities and opportunities!
