Freedom means everyone should get their rights and get to do as per their own likes and dislikes. They should wear clothes of their choice, and do what job they want to do.
Today, I am going to tell you about my great grandmother who is 93 years old. I call her Panji. She is a freedom fighter. In 1941, when she was in school, at age 15, she was protesting the British rule and was arrested.
She was put in Hindalga Jail in Belgaum for one year. Inside jail, she spun khadi cloth. She is a follower of Gandhiji and used to wear khadi clothes. When she was arrested, she was wearing a tricolour blouse like our flag.
Many people have fought for our country and we should always remember them.
